Mama says i was a bad dog
Now this is the story all about how
My life got flipped, turned upside down
And I’d like to take a minute just sit right there
I’ll tell you how I became the bad dog of my mommys house.
So…this weekend mama has been hanging out with me at her mommy and daddys house. they are up in parksville and we have the whole house to our selves. She takes long baths…watches cable tv (she gave up cable to buy me toys) and sit out on the patio watching the humming birds buzz.
we only go back to our house for sleep time.
lastnight..we went back for sleeping. mama went to put more kitty sand in the kitty box.
just as she took the box of kitty sand outside…i snuck past her and out to FREEDOM!!!!!!!!
i ran down the driveway. i coudl hear her
“Maggie..come back” but i didnt…i RAN. i was FREE.
i ran all the way down the driveway..and across the road. it was very late..mama said 11:00 and there werent many cars on the roada..but we do live on a busy street. you could hear them coming.
Mama was hurrying after me. I knew just where to go..mamas taken me for walks before..i just started taking her for a walk.
everytime she came…i ran faster. She called me..but i didnt come. she said sit..but i laughed at her. i wasnt gonna sit..i was FREE.
she stopped..and said “bye bye maggie”
well..thats the most horrible sentence seh ever says to me.. bye bye??? shes going awya??? what? no!!!!
so i ran twards her…but before i got to her…i tricked her..and ran across the road..just as a car came.
Mama started waving her arms and running into the street after me. the car stopped so i went around it. mama pointed up to the driveway and aid “go”
so i went up the driveway andi nto the carport.
mama stood at the end of the carport..she knew..shes a smart lady..she knew if she went one way id go the other.
she finally snuck up on me and scooped me up.
she put me in the kennel and called me a BAD DOG.
i dont like my kennel..so i barked and told her what for.
she was so mad she went to bed and put a blanket over my kennel so i couldnt see her and i was quiet.
evenutlaly i won her over and she brought me up into her bed..she called me bad again..
shes still mad at me today..but we are snuggling right now.
